Design

Visually, the CX-6e evolves Mazda’s "Kodo" design philosophy into the electric age with an athletic, coupe-like silhouette and clean, sculpted surfaces. The front fascia is anchored by an illuminated grille wing framing continuous LED headlights, whileflush door handles and dynamic aero wheels optimise airflow. Highlighting the palette is Nightfall Violet—a deep multi-tone finish that shifts tone in varying light. Inside, the cabin embraces the Japanese concept of "Ma" (the beauty of open space), pairing plush materials like vegan Maztex upholstery with 256-color ambient lighting. The focal point is a massive 26.5-inch 5K screen spanning across the dashboard with an anti-glare coating.

Drive

Built on a rear-motor, rear-wheel-drive chassis, the CX-6e offers responsive, linear acceleration from its 255 hp electric powertrain. Power delivery is smooth and predictable, making highway cruising remarkably quiet and relaxed. The chassis is tuned with a firmer suspension setup, providing tidy handling through tight corners with minimal body lean. Drivers can toggle between Normal, Sport, and Individual driving modes to tailor throttle calibration and steering weight, ensuring an engaging experience behind the wheel.

Practicality

Utilizing a long 2,902 mm wheelbase and a flat cabin floor, the CX-6e maximizes passenger room, offering generous head and legroom for four adults. Boot capacity starts at 468 litres, expanding to 1,434 litres with the split-folding rear seats stowed. Adding to its practical credentials is a handy 80-litre front trunk (frunk) designed to hold charging cables, as well as a 1,500 kg braked towing capacity.
